It is made with a 3-layer GORE-TEX fabric, making it fully waterproof. It has a zippered closure with snaps for connecting to the other sleep system components. It also features Hook and Loop fasteners around the hood which can be fastened to prevent openings during rainy or extremely cold weather. This would make a great bivy cover for all-season camping.
